Around 1915, a year before La Cumparsita premiered, Buenos Aires saw this marvelous place take shape: the art nouveau basement of Galería General Güemes, three thousand square meters now dedicated to tango and the city's arts.
The building that houses it marked a stage in the growth of Buenos Aires. For a long time it was the highest point in the country. The beacon lit in its dome at 87 meters high served as a reference for the vessels of the Río de la Plata. Its architect, the Italian Francisco Gianotti, used the most luxurious materials of the era to build this palace that still amazes us.
Astor Piazzolla Theatre — Like some of the world's most important variety halls, the Astor Piazzolla Theatre is also a restaurant. This allows spectator-diners to enjoy international cuisine paired with fine wines and then watch the evening show. From the old boxes it is possible to watch, almost privately, a show that brings together great tango figures.

- Bookings made after 10:00 PM are processed the following day.
- Bookings are made under the customer's name and our agency's name.
- To enter the show, present the voucher physically or by email on your phone.
- The tango house assigns table seating on the day of the show.
- Our team will confirm your booking and transfer details within 24 hours.
💳 Payment & Cancellation
- Payments securely processed with Stripe, in dollars, euros or reais depending on the currency you choose.
- Accepted cards and methods: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, PayPal and PIX (PIX available in reais only).
- Cancellation with 24 hours' notice: the date can be changed. The fare is non-refundable. See our cancellation policy.
